Kyle Plummer is an award-winning independent filmmaker based in the beautiful Central Coast of California. His work has spanned from producing successful independent short narrative and documentary projects as a producing team with his brother, Carlos, to working with various professional organizations on promotional work. Kyle and his brother Carlos have received many accolades for their work, the earliest being the "Best Child Produced Film" Award at the 2010 Chicago International Children's Film Festival at the young ages of 12 and 8 respectively for their first original short film The Magic Hat (2010). Since then, they have continued to work and produce films and videos across multiple platforms including a series of award-winning documentaries. Their first short documentary Korea Remembered (2013) was honored by the Department of Defense in 2013 as part of the Korean War 60th Anniversary Initiative and was made a permanent addition to their historical records documenting the anniversary. More recently, Kyle directed three student short films while attending film school at Dixie State University: "Infinity" (2015), "There She Was" (2017) and "Nikki" (2017), all of which have screened at various film festivals themselves. He also edited and produced the multi-award-winning short documentary Becoming Rich (2018), which was directed by his brother Carlos. Kyle Plummer earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication with an emphasis in Digital Film from DSU in St. George, Utah. He has returned to California to pursue independent production work in both film and video through their production company SuperImage, Ltd.
