Mamacita

Gladys was born in Escondido, a suburb town in San Diego County. She was born to a Canadian father and Mexican mother. She was the second of two daughters. Her mother and father divorced when she was about 5 years old and her mother briefly re-married and had two more daughters and a son. The marriage did not last, causing her mother to raise all siblings as a single mother. After graduating from high school and continuing on to college, Gladys pursued her career choice in her strongest field; which was business. Working for the same company for several years in the marketing department, Gladys came up with a business venture that would change her life in a completely new direction. Growing up in a Mexican community and with the Mexican culture Gladys was accustomed to being flirted with and flattered by Latino men. Catcalls and compliments always started or ended with "Mamacita". Being the business minded woman that's always been her strength she took both names 'Mamacita' and 'Mamacitaz' and filed for ownership through the US Patent and Trademark Office. Gladys then set about producing products. She immediately produced her first calendar, from scratch. Modeling, organizing, designing, publishing, distributing and promoting her first product the "2006 Mamacitaz Calendar". She took it on the road to promote nationwide. On nights and weekends she promoted at concerts, car shows, trade-shows, nightclubs and bars. Anywhere they would let her in the front door! Without the usual stable of managers or publicists "Mamacita" the hot Latina Urban Model was born and she was being featured in magazines and on radio show interviews coast to coast. During the first year out promoting her calendar "Mamacita" was able to secure a national distribution deal with RSC Newsways. Her 2007 Mamacitaz Calendar was the first year her calendar was placed on newsstands nationally. Mamacita speaks fluent Spanish. Mamacita resides in San Diego, California.
