Maureen is best known as the founder of Pioneer Film Studios, in Scotland. After studying and working in film studios in the US then the UK, she used her experience combined with her dedication to using film as an asset to elevate communities, to create international scale film & high end TV facilities in Stepps, just outside Glasgow. Pioneer was set up as a beacon for change in the industry, supporting mental health and well-being and championing sustainable approaches to the film industry.
