Emmy Award Winner Jennifer Jiles was born in Poughkeepsie, NY. The youngest of three kids, her father was a surgeon and mother a psychotherapist. She began her career as a Rockette at Radio City Music Hall, on "The David Letterman Show" and in the "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade", solidifying her dream of becoming a professional dancer. In the off season, she hung up her dance shoes and was the host of the New York Mets baseball TV series, "DYNAMETS!" which garnered her first Emmy Award in 1993. Performing with Tim Conway and Tom Poston on the National Tour of "The Odd Couple," Jiles received her Actors Equity card. In the years that followed, she graced the stage playing Agnes Gooch in "Mame" with legendary actresses Samantha Eggar as Vera and Shani Wallis as Mame, and worked with Carl Reiner to develop his short stories into sketches at The Westbeth Theatre Center. In 1997, she began writing, producing and performing in stand up and sketch comedy shows in and around New York City. Most notably appearing with Rob Corddry in her own sketch group "Third Rail Comedy"; and performing 21 original characters in her two act solo show "Kicking & Screaming, The Musical!', about her years as a Radio City Rockette. Jennifer made her transition into television in "Small Miracles" with Judd Hirsch and Kathryn Kates directed by Paul Mones, and made her network prime time debut in back to back performances on CBS' "Bull" directed by Bethany Rooney, and Marvel's "Jessica Jones" directed by Sarah Boyd. As a filmmaker, she produced her first project "Mother of the Week," followed by a collaboration with director Debra Markowitz on "The Waiting Room." Combined, they won a multitude of awards including Audience Choice Awards, Best Ensemble and several for Best Actress. Jiles has teamed up with writer Chris Niespodzianski for their upcoming dark comedy/murder mystery feature, and with writer Frederick Stroppel for their single camera sports comedy series. Over the years, Ms. Jiles continues to appear in dozens of on-camera commercials and has lent her voice to hundreds of voice-overs, including "Eliquis" and "Grand Theft Auto V."
