Suzanne Singer began her career as a news writer for WCBS in New York, was a researcher for "Good Morning America", and produced a news magazine show for KRON in San Francisco. She independently produced several documentaries and was a programming executive for PBS in Washington, co-created and produced "The Puzzle Place" for KCET in Los Angeles, and was executive producer for P.O.V. the PBS documentary series. While at P.O.V. she won two Emmy awards for the films: "AKA Don Bonus", and "Transformations". After twenty years in television she became a rabbi, and as of 2009 is the rabbi at Temple Beth El in Riverside, California. Her sister Michele is married to Rob Reiner, and her sister Martine is married to film producer Chuck Weinstock.
