Award-winning Acting Coach, Louis Stancil, brings an accomplished background to his auspicious career in entertainment. He began his professional trajectory in his native Baltimore, Maryland acting in local plays before ending up as an intern at a local casting agency where he then realized he was interested in the behind the scenes aspect of Hollywood and absorbed all facets of set life from casting to producing. He soon found himself interning at various casting offices in New York and became a freelance assistant to some of the top casting offices in the city, including ABC, FOX, NBC, and HBO, where he was an interpreter of sign language for deaf actors. As the son of deaf parents, it has remained important for him to be able to advocate on behalf of persons with disabilities. He gleaned the tricks of the trade and used his experience to help others make their way in the business. Louis was always compelled to help other aspiring actors in the quest by helping them better understand the business of entertainment. He landed at a Wilhelmina Models agency affiliate office where his ability to recognize and cultivate people's gifts would make him one of the agency's lead talent scouts and helped elevate the careers of countless talent across the country. As a creative, Stancil has accumulated credits in acting, producing, and assistant directing in addition to his casting credits. Thanks to his notable skill set, years of on-set experience and vast resources, Louis Stancil created a notable buzz for himself in the entertainment industry and in 2013, he opened his Talent Training Service Center in 5 major markets across the country, including NYC, Los Angeles, Atlanta, New Orleans, and Chicago. In 2016, Louis was named one of the top 5 training service providers by the Hollywood Reporter. January of 2020, Louis opened LS Acting Studios in Atlanta and Los Angeles, where he offers classes to actors, writers, and directors looking to broaden their range and learn actual business skills. LS Acting Studios created their industry talk back as a free service where working industry professionals, including celebrities, directors, producers, managers, are on hand to share their experience and allow the students to do live Q&A's. LS Acting Studios also offers its WAD (Writer's Actor Directors) program, which produces live monthly performances to showcase the performers' art. There is also a convention dubbed "The Lucky Seven Convention" that allows a select group of individuals the opportunity to travel to New York and Los Angeles for exclusive showcases in front of industry VIPs. "If a person is passionate, tenacious, and has thick skin to handle the rejection of the industry, we want to work with you." He explains. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, LS Acting Studios has been forced to reorganize their teaching model and, for the first time, offers online classes. LS Acting Studios is primed to be a leader in not only actor coaching but an overall grooming studio for the brightest talent in the industry. Most recently, Louis coached Meek Mill in Overbrook & Sony's anticipated film by a Netflix adaptation film 'Charm City Kings'. Charm City Kings won Ensemble Acting at this year's 2020 Sundance Film Festival for its cast, which includes Jahi Di'Allo Winston, and Grammy-nominated recording artist Meek Mill. Louis also recently wrapped as the Casting Director for a Pilot Presentation executive produced by Lil Rel Howery (Get Out).
