Terry Hoge was born and raised in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania; a small, rural, blue-collar town 16 miles north of Pittsburgh. After leaving high school with no more experience than the musicals and the school theatre troupe, he spent the next 4 years at Ohio University honing his craft. He was introduced to a myriad of different acting approaches and schools of thought including, but not limited to: Meisner, the Alexander technique, Fitzmaurice, movement theatre, Shakespeare, Greek plays, Doubling up as a construction worker for his dad's in-ground swimming pool company, Terry further sharpened his skills outside of school in various regional theaters such as Pittsburgh Irish Classical Theatre, and also pursued commercial acting with roles in many local and larger regional campaigns. However, his focus was always on something greater and more arduous, as he left westward for California. He's thankful for the years in construction he spent learning what hard work truly meant. Terry prides himself on his blue-collar work ethic which has helped him during his tougher times on the west coast. He's used it to further his training with camera techniques courtesy of Sal Romeo and Joy Rinaldi. Always looking to improve his skills and always eager for the next challenge.
