Zak Tomic

Zak Tomic was born in Houston, Texas, son to a Yugoslavian father and German/Irish mother. Raised in a predominately Hispanic part of the city, he learned Spanish as his second language. Zak fell in love with the martial arts at an early age in life and began classes at 11 years old, studying various arts including: Kung Fu, Russian Martial Arts, Kickboxing, Grappling, and many more. Inspired by various films throughout the years, he was heavily influenced by martial artists and stuntmen such as Ray Park, Cyril Raffaelli, Sebastien Foucan, and many others. He has trained around the world with many great martial artists and fighters and taken part in many camps and seminars. He also played lead guitar and sang in local rock groups Angel, and Lost Heroes for over 5 years. Other interests also include culture and language, and he has taken on courses in French and Russian.
