Fahad Farooque is an Australian actor, known for First Day (2020), Dark Blue (2019), and The Marriage of Figaro (2009). Fahad has been performing for roughly 30 years, having worked in theatre, musical theatre, film, television and in numerous concerts as a soloist singer. Through his years of acting experience, Fahad draws on his knowledge to deliver naturalist and versatile performances, whether on the stage or screen. From a teacher, a doctor, a refugee, a soldier, an office worker, to a policeman, Fahad has delivered all these roles convincingly. Fahad has taken extensive vocal training in musical theatre, contemporary and classical voice, and has demonstrated his ability to sing and perform in these styles via the roles he has played and concerts he has given. Fahad has trained in Hindustani classical voice having spent 6 months in India, from where he recorded his debut album in Indian semi-classical music. Fahad was born in Australia to Indian and Pakistani parents. He is able to speak Hindi and Urdu, and also English with a range of accents including Australian, Indian, Pakistani, Arabic, Persian/Iranian, Afghan, British (various), and American. Fahad has received training with Heesom Casting, and is represented by AAA Talent Agency.
