Riingo Banerjee

After quitting a 14-year career in advertising with one of the top International agencies and post launching his career as an award-winning commercial and music video director, Riingo Banerjee quickly emerged as one of Tollywood's most experimental and "technology driven" feature film writer / director / cinematographer / editor. He was the first in Eastern India to introduce Digital Cinema in 2004 in Eastern India. Characterized by his aggressive visual style and high-contrast color palettes in the Digital Cinema format, backed by subjects ranging from the high octane action commercials to children adventure epics to romantic love stories to murder mysteries to real life biographies, his films have earned a cinematic signature - The Riingo Type Film ! Now established as one of the industry's elite filmmakers, Riingo has been dazzling audiences since the premiere of his first feature film, Kranti, produced by Shree Venkatesh Films, starring Jeet and Ashis Vidyarthi, in 2006. Since then, his films have been showcased in multiple International and National Film Festivals. He has his production company Ring A Bell Films which has its own complete post production set up.
