Tassilo Hallbauer

After he studied Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration and Film Production in Berlin, Rome, Ludwigsburg, London and Paris, Tassilo worked as a 1st AD and line producer on several productions across Europe. In 2008 he founded and managed the production company Colorstorm Films in Berlin. Within three years he produced more than 30 documentaries, video clips, image films and commercials. In 2011 he joined the international sales agent Beta Cinema. Since then he is responsible for global acquisitions as well as overlooking sales in Scandinavia, Benelux, Eastern Europe, Russia, Latin America, Asia and Africa. Prime examples of Beta Cinema's acquisitions and development projects are the psychological thriller KINDRED (2020) starring Fiona Shaw and Jack Lowden, sold to IFC Midnight for the US and Sky Cinema for the UK. Pre-sale hit NOWHERE SPECIAL by Uberto Pasolini starring James Norton (Venice IFF 2020). Sundance/Berlinale and UK box office success THE HAPPY PRINCE by Rupert Everett with Colin Firth, Emily Watson and Rupert Everett (UK).
