Before he turned four years old, Max Jenkins attended his first kid karate class. He baffled the instructor when he ignored his name at role call and, instead, tried to check in with a convincing and completely imaginary alias. Around the same time he began enthralling his preschool classmates and instructors with vivid and realistic tales of his life in Africa. At 4, Max put his imagination and acting skills to work in a professional capacity. Since then, Max has steadily built his resume. His credits include multiple national and regional television commercials, radio commercials and voice over, indie film, television, industrials, and live performance roles in theatre and cirque productions. Highlights include featured roles in Barney and HBO's Temple Grandin (2010), and a principal role in a television pilot starring Robin Givens. In addition to acting, Max, 9, trains in trampoline and tumbling and holds a current state champion title in Trampoline. He enjoys creating screenplays, building with Lego, reading, and training in circus arts. He just might run away to join the circus some day. Working with the cast and crew of Misdirection (2010) was a magical experience for Max.
