Tina Field Howe

Tina lives in a quiet village in Upstate New York. Before Tina became a screenwriter, she published a children's picture book and two YA sci-fi novels in a series. She also produced an audio book of the first novel and the children's book using actors in the roles. All have won literary awards. Since Tina's a visual writer, this writing experience, as well as roles in film and theater, became the springboard for her screenwriting endeavors. She recently completed directing her first short, Country Club Confession. Tina's strengths are world building, characters with heart, dialog and action, and the ability to work well with producers and other writers. She has won several competitions, the latest being the prestigious 2016 Writer's Lab Women Over Forty competition funded by Meryl Streep. She has two feature films in development, a grounded sci-fi TV pilot, and a Master Screenwriting certificate through ScreenwritingU.
