John Putman

Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, John Putman realized his passion for filmmaking while creating films in place of poster boards in grade school. John wrote, directed, and stared in his first film at the age of nine. His storytelling abilities eventually led him to study film/video at Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois. While there he created content for clients with music videos, promotional videos, and short films. John left Columbia College to begin his journey in Film, TV, Documentary, and Commercial production. John has worked professionally on Independent film productions in New York, Chicago, and Naples, Florida since the age of eighteen. Tapping into his entrepreneurial drive, John launched John Putman Productions LLC in October of 2007, at the helm of projects that have culminated to his success today. He resides as a filmmaker based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
