Tommy Harkness was born and raised in Berkeley, California. At a young age, he became interested in acting and writing and has pursued a life in film ever since. After taking film and acting classes in high school, he went on to study film with an emphasis on screenwriting and film production at California State University at Monterey Bay and he also studied acting at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Shortly after graduating from school, at the age of 22, Tommy realized a life long dream when he played the lead role in an independent feature film. This occurred when he played the role of Georgi in 100 Proof, written by his close friend Douglas Russo. Another dream came true a few years later, at age 24, when Tommy wrote and directed his first feature film, entitled Cheated. Nowadays, Tommy lives in San Francisco, California and runs his own production company Le Chat Noir Cinéma which he uses to produce short films that he writes and directs as well as films directed by his close friends. To date, Tommy has written and directed 3 films: Cheated, Desdemona and Infinite Color and acted in and produced several others.
