Lilly Rivlin, a 7th generation Jerusalemite, has worked as a journalist, writer, and filmmaker for over 35 years both internationally and in the U.S. Most recently she consults to foundations on Middle East politics, Jewish Affairs, Non-violent conflict resolution and Gender Issues. Her published articles on political and gender issues include the groundbreaking article on Lilith, Ms. magazine. (Dec. '72) An active feminist, Lilly serves on several Boards, including the International Committee of Women of the Wall, Meretz, USA, The Counseling Center for Women in Israel and is one of the founders of the original Feminist Seder, a ritual maker. Rivlin, was part of a group of New York Jewish women who pushed the limits of Jewish tradition by creating new rituals and the original Women's Seder. Her films have documented these historic events, including Miriam's Daughters Now. Throughout her career she has endeavored to live by the feminist motto, "the personal is political". . .
