A Fort Lauderdale native, Parker moved to Brooklyn, NY in 1999 to attend the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. He spent two years with Maynard Ferguson and his Big Bop Nouveau Band, touring in the U.S. and abroad. Matt can be heard on the band's M.F. Horn VI: Live at Ronnie Scott's. His debut album Worlds Put Together (release date: 5/21/13 BYNK Records) has been receiving rave reviews since its 2013 release.
