Joe Verni is a director, writer and producer, known for Stalking Eva (2015), which is his first feature film after three other works: World of Women (2007), La recherche (2007) and L'uomo con la valigia (2008). In 2009 he abandoned the project of the film adaptation ("Il sole dei morenti") of the novel by Jean-Claude Izzo "Le soleil des mourants" (Flammarion, 1999). He is particularly fond of horror cinema, Nuri Bilge Ceylan films, and cats and dogs.
