Jules L. Carrozza is a filmmaker currently based in the Boston area. He first developed an interest in movies after becoming obsessed with Japanese monster films. He first picked up a video camera at the age of 10 and started making little opuses of his own by stop motion animating monster toys. As a teenager, he continued to make films that grew larger and larger in scale. His first more serious short film was the dark fairy tale satire "Little Red Riding Hood" in 2006, which was followed by the Alice in Wonderland-themed semi-follow up "Alison in 2015. He also produced a documentary on Chinese cult director T.F. Mou and a macabre short film called "Eater" in 2017. He is currently (2019-21) at work on taking his career to the next level of professionalism, having produced a web series called "Micro-Shocks" and is currently at work on a series of horror shorts to be combined into an anthology called "Black Omnibus", starting with "Fungus". He also has a dystopian TV mini-series called "Coup High" in his cross-hairs. Other unproduced/to be-produced concepts include the medieval ghost story "The Crimson Sigil", the Puritan zombie epic "Horror Colony" and the space opera "The Neon Princess".
