Kazz Kitaki began his career as a film producer in 2008 with "108" (director: Yoshitake Mori). He found Magnetize in 2012, a full-service of independent movie company controls from planning, production through distribution. His latest produced film, "Under the Turquoise Sky" (director: Kentaro) is his first international co-production (Japan/France/Mongolia). Starring Yuya Yagira, the winner of the Best Actor prize at the 57th Cannes Film Festival, the film won FIPRESCI International Film Critics Award as well as Talent Award (audience award) at the 68th International Film Festival Mannheim-Heidelberg held in Germany last fall. Japan Premiere is scheduled in 2021. "Ghostmaster" (director: Paul Young) is another production in 2019, which was invited to more than ten film festivals including the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival in Belgium and the Sitges Film Festival in Spain. The film was chosen as the Grand-Prix of the 40th Fantasporto, Portugal. His other produced and distributed films include: "Our Family" (director: Yuya Ishii), "Rolling" (director: Masanori Tominaga), "Lost Serenade" (director: Masato Ozawa), "Ow" (director: Yohei Suzuki), "Dream of Illumination" (director: Thunder Sawada), "Goodbye, Grandpa!" (director: Yukihiro Morigaki) and "Riding Uphill" (director: Kan Eguchi). Recently, Magnetize began purchasing foreign films. Starting from a Polish film "Memories of Summer" (director: Adam Guzinski), the company is actively expanding international business scenes.
