Sonya Godwin was born in Seoul Korea, the youngest child to an engineer (from North Carolina) and a homemaker (from South Korea). After leaving South Korea at a very young age, they moved around a bit and finally settled in San Diego California where Sonya was introduced to the art of acting at the age of nine. She made her first film debut in "Finding Sky" and several shorts such as "One Way Ticket" and "Candy Snatchers".
