Sam Broadwin is an Emmy Nominated Documentary Producer. For Academy Award nominated documentarian Joe Berlinger and RadicalMedia, Sam Developed and Story Produced Conversations With a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes, a four-part series for Netflix that examines the notorious serial killer through exclusive interviews with the killer himself. It debuted as NetFlix's second most viewed original programming across all genres. Prior to that, Sam Developed and Field Produced for Joe Berlinger the investigative documentary series Gone: The Forgotten Women of Ohio, about the deaths and disappearances of six young women in southern Ohio, and the dark underbelly of a struggling Midwest region plagued by drug and sex trafficking. The series ran on SpikeTV in 2017. That same year, he also Developed Unspeakable Crime: The Killing of Jessica Chambers, an investigative look into the brutal murder of a Mississippi teenager. It debuted as Oxygen's highest rated show since its true crime rebrand in 2017. In addition to his work on numerous docu-series, Sam Developed and Co-Produced the Emmy nominated feature documentary Intent to Destroy, which pulls back the curtain on the violent history of the Armenian Genocide for director Joe Berlinger. For Third Eye Motion Picture Company Sam was Associate Producer and provided research and script development for Berlinger's Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, a feature narrative film that chronicles the life of Ted Bundy through the eyes of Liz Kloepfer, his longtime girlfriend. The film stars Zac Efron and Lily Collins. Throughout his career in the industry, Sam has Developed and Contributed to projects for CNNFilms, Magnolia Picture, Starz, TWC, RedBull Media House, SpikeTV, Oxygen, Al-Jazeera America, Sundance Channel, Center for Investigative Reporting, Investigation Discovery and NetFlix.
