Anna Dawson

Anna Dawson is a New Zealand born actress who is best known for her work in Peter Jackson's The Lovely Bones. Anna has worked professionally in the industry since she was 9 years old, starting her career on Shorthand Street and moving on to other projects such as Radi Radi Rah, working alongside performers including Taika Waititi, Rhys Darby and Jemaine Clement. After a relatively successful early career, Anna took a break from screen and stage work to study, gaining a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Marketing at Victoria Univerity of Wellington. Anna later was admitted to the bar, before returning to Auckland, where she returned to Acting. In 2021, Anna attended and studied at The Actors Program, in Auckland New Zealand, gaining a diploma in screen and stage performing arts. Since then Anna has worked steadily, returning to Shortland Street as Arizona Stevenson, and appearing in a number of commercials and short films.
