Kathe Leigh Mash-Baumann, was born in the Midwest and moved to Los Feliz, California to attend high school at Glendale High School from 1958-1962. Mash, is the mother of American TV/Film Producer, Lewis Marklin Mash, grandmother of 18 and most well known for her artistry as an internationally known Porcelain Artist and China painter. Mash began traveling the continental United States, demonstrating her artistry at trade shows and teaching seminars in the 1980s when her art began to appear in international art publications and magazines. After the death of her husband in 1991, her career became more secluded. Mash moved to Salem Oregon, where she has been a color specialist for a large magazine printing press company.
