Theodore Martland co-wrote the feature film, Actors Anonymous (2017), based on the book of the same name, which stars James Franco, Eric Roberts, Emma Catherine Rigby, and Keegan Allen. He completed his professional training as a director at USC film school in 2015, earning an MFA on the Annenberg Fellowship. Prior to film school, Ted received recognition in the New York Times and won awards for his student documentaries on Buddhism, Dhamma Dana (2009) and Wandering Mind (2012), for which he temporarily ordained as a novice monk. He has also acted Off-Broadway in New York City, worked in television development and independent film, and earned his Bachelor of Arts with honors from the University of Richmond, studying in four other countries during the process.
