Lawrence W. Nelson II

Award Winning writer and director, Lawrence W. Nelson II, was born in St. Louis, Missouri, the oldest of four siblings. From an early age, Lawrence W. Nelson II knew he wanted to be a screenwriter. He would check out copies of scripts from the local library and watch the movie as he read the screenplay. In 2003, he joined the United States Marine Corps. Cpl. Lawrence W. Nelson II left active duty after serving four years. On his return home, Lawrence decided to follow his long time dream and passion - screenwriting and directing. He enrolled into the Los Angeles Film School.. He founded No One Left Behind Productions in August of 2008, since that time he's worked on numerous projects including Beach Massacre at Kill Devil Hills, which went on to be hit on various online platforms like Hulu, and Red Box. As a screenwriter, Lawrence has placed in the top 30 twice in Slamdance Screenplay competition, a Golden Script Finalist, and Academy Nicholl Fellowships quarter-finalist.
