Daniel Muniz (Born Daniel González-Muniz) is a chilean/uruguayan actor, illustrator and author of children's books. Muniz has worked as an actor in Chilean theater, The National Theater Company of Costa Rica, The Royal Theater of Denmark, among others. In 2021 he received the World Honor List award by the international council of books for young people IBBY, at the World Congress of Authors and Children's Books in Moscow, for his book "The Turtle and the Monster" by Editorial Costa Rica.
