Early on, Leslie Richards showed promise as an artist and a writer, but it was not evident that the shy, soft-spoken girl would one day aspire to be an actress. The interest in the stage first started in junior high when she played Hermia in a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. After that first exhilarating experience she continued to seek opportunities to act in school plays throughout high school. Leslie continued to take acting courses in college while she studied Illustration at the Academy of Art College and afterward, but has yet to return to the stage. Instead she began auditioning for independent film projects and soon landed a role in 'Zah - A Pizza Movie which won the Silver Screen Award in the Nevada Film Festival. She continues to explore online short films and independent film projects in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she lives and works.
