Krishna has an MFA in Film and Electronic Media from The American University in Washington, D.C. She has worked for Deloitte's Media and Entertainment practice whose clients encompass major entertainment industry players including Paramount, Disney, Univision, Turner, and Technicolor. She has produced and directed various feature films, music videos, shorts, PSAs, and spec TV Pilots. She recently finished a music video for The District All Stars for their song Back to You, which won a Billboard World Music award for Best Electronic Song. She recently completed her feature film, "Arrange to Settle", which she wrote, produced and directed. The film is currently in post production. She has received acclaim and recognition for several of her film projects. Her TV pilot Young Adult won the Indie Fest "Award of Merit". Her short film Tiebreaker was an official selection of the Our City Film Festival and screened as part of the "Best of Washington, D.C." and won "Best Graphics" in the 48 Hour Film Project Washington, D.C. My Bollywood Hero won "Best Choreography" in the 48 Hour Film Project Baltimore. "Wish You Were Here" was an official selection of the SAG Foundation Short screening and was screened as part of the "Best of Washington, D.C." and won "Best Music", "Best Graphics", and "Best Editing" in the 48 Hour Film Project Washington, D.C. In regard to writing, her documentary script God I Thee Wed was nominated for a Visions award.
