Teun Luijkx was born on November 3rd, 1986 in Veldhoven, The Netherlands. After graduating from the Maastricht Academy of the Performing Arts in 2008, Teun performed with various theatre companies including Het Toneelhuis (Antwerp), The Toneelschuur and Toneelgroep Oostpool, where he performed in plays such as "The Trial" (Franz Kafka), "Quartet" (Heinier Muller) and "Angels in America" (Tony Kushner). In 2017 he starred as Frank Wheeler in the Theater Rotterdam production "Revolutionary Road". Teun starred in three seasons of the award-winning drama series A'dam - E.V.A. (2011). He also played leading roles in the drama series De geheimen van Barslet (2011), Bloedverwanten (2010), S1ngle (2008) and in the International Emmy Award nominated TV series The Spiral (2012), which was broadcast in eight countries. In 2017, Teun starred as the lead in the new drama series Fenix (2018), directed by Shariff Korver. Teun also played leading roles in the feature films Alle tijd (2011) and &Me (2013).
