Joshua Morgan, Sr. is a Washington, DC native who is a man of God. Morgan values family and work effortlessly to advocate for and build success in community. His successful career in the NFL as a wide receiver from 2008 to 2015 adds value to how well the youth in his community receives his message that achieving your dreams and goals is possible no matter your background". Morgan attended DC Public Schools and furthered his education at Virginia Tech University. While playing football at Virginia Tech, Morgan was crowned as the ACC Champion in 2007 and still ranks fourth in Virginia Tech history with 122 receptions, eighth with 1,817 receiving yards and fifth with 16 touchdowns. Shortly after Morgan was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the sixth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. At the end of the season he was highlighted as the Rookie of the Year. After great gains, memorable moments and earning career records with the 49ers. Morgan took his talents to the Washington Redskins (now Commanders), this moment in his career is notable because Morgan grew up a fan of the Washington Team. While playing for the Redskins, Morgan was named the Redskins Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee in 2012. He scored his first receiving touchdown as a Redskin in 2013. Morgan went on to play for the Chicago Bears in 2014 and signed with the New Orleans Saints in 2015. As a retired NFL player Morgan dedicates his time to his family and his community. Always putting God at the forefront of everything he does. Morgan mentors children and teens from urban backgrounds in the nation's capital. In 2013, DC City Council declared June 20 as "Josh Morgan Day", in Washington, DC. Joshua has established his Dream Catchers Foundation in order to further his work with the youth in the community. As an Actor, Joshua has had multiple roles and is looking forward to growing his acting credits in the future.
