Giovanni Antonello

Born in Austin, Tx, Giovanni grew up with a passion for film and music. He dabbled in the arts in high school; but it wasn't until 2009 that he really sought out his true calling. Music came first. He joined a band, "Private Zebra," and began composing music for close friends' short films. With these experiences, he was endowed with the knowledge of classical as well as industrial sounds. He spent countless hours in the studio, writing and composing pieces that would describe moments in his life, and moments in film. His new passion for music enticed Giovanni to seek out his other passion: Acting. Austin, Tx offered an array of opportunities, and he was eager to take part in anything he could get his hands on. He was blessed with the opportunity to work with and learn from many talented filmmakers and actors in the Austin film community. Giovanni Antonello co-starred in Austin originals such as "CHERRY BOMB," "PIECES," and the highly regarded "THE BIG BENDS," which has made its way into SXSW, Cannes, and several other festivals. Now living in Austin, TX, he is taking his acting and music skills to another level. He is striving to become a part of the Austin film community with strong ambitions and forward-thinking ideas.
