Mark Boutros

Mark was born in Brooklyn, NY (March 19, 1973) and grew up in Queens. He attended Queens College (BA in History), Brooklyn College (MFA), and Rutgers University (MLIS). Mark has worked in film and video production since 2000 splitting his time between film production and working in higher education. He is primarily known for his cinematography, capturing other worldly situations whether it is in horror or sic-fi. Since 2015, Mark has been the festival director for the First Con-Tact Film Festival, part of the First Con-Tact Creator and Comic Con. First Con-Tact is a live screened festival that features up and coming genre filmmakers in sic-fi, horror, fantasy, and the bizarre.
