Eric I. Keyes III is from Chicago, Illinois and has a strong background in acting, literacy, hosting and dancing. On the heels of landing lead roles in national commercials, Eric became the co-host on the nationally syndicated television show "Live Life and Win!" (Connection III Entertainment/a weekly FCC-friendly, Educational/Informational news magazine highlighting inspirational teen success stories.) It all started at a very young age. Eric was with his mother at a talent agency when an agent noticed him and asked if the toddler could do an ad campaign for a children's hospital in Chicago. Eric's mother (an actress then) quickly agreed. The location was Harpo Studios and the star of the ad campaign turned out to be Oprah Winfrey! That is the day his career began. At the tender age of 11, Eric became a published author. His debut book "The Light in the Dark" (Highest Good Publications) was published and sold at Borders book stores nationwide. Eric toured schools while promoting his vision to children. "You can turn off your fears and turn on your inner Light in the Dark." This message afforded Eric the huge opportunity of being the opening speaker for Arne Duncan (who today is the U.S. Secretary of Education) by reciting his book at RPC which was broadcasted live to over 180 countries. Eric continued to achieve in academics. His speech, "California...My State", won First Prize in the Antelope Valley (California) Speech Competition. He received more accolades when The Valley Press (Palmdale, California) published his poem entitled "Shadow Eclipse." Eric also earned the prestigious NASA award for "Academic Excellence in Geography." Eric continued to work in the industry by being the lead in national television commercials (McDonald's, Disney, etc.) the male lead in the music video "Wild Ones" by hip hop artist Flo Rida and a featured lead dancer in the wildly popular "Party Rock Anthem" music video by rap duo L.M.F.A.O. While continuing to study his true love of acting Eric was inked to co-star in the musical drama film project "The Other Woman" (pre-production). In January 2014 Eric I. Keyes III received the nomination by the NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Performance in a Youth/ Children's Program (Series or Special). The NAACP Image Award has been given to stars such as Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Will Smith, Jamie Foxx, Morgan Freeman, Halle Berry and Angela Bassett. In his own category, Eric will join nominees and winners such as Raven-Symoné and Keke Palmer.
