Olga Segura is a Mexican producer currently residing in the United States, she has produced over 8 films with projects premiering at the Venice, Berlin and Sundance Film Festivals. Her last film, Waiting for the Barbarians was based on the novel written by Nobel Prize winner J.M. Coetzee, it was directed by Oscar-nominated Ciro Guerra, and premiered at the Venice Film Festival 2019. She is currently producing and co-directing a documentary based on the 3-time Latin Grammy winning singer and composer Carla Morrison. Additionally, Segura has recently partnered with Exile Content to create the Latina Creative Incubator for the development of emerging female and non gender-binary Latinx content creators. Segura is also a co-founder of The Latinx House, a platform for people who appreciate, support and celebrate the excellence of the Latinx community as well as, Poderistas, a movement and platform designed to empower the next generation of Latinas.
