Julio Coutinho

Was born in Petropolis, RJ; Brazil. He moved to USA to start his career as an actor and director. Graduated from Miami Film School, now "International academy of TV and film production". In 2009 he played a character, wrote and directed "The color of truth", his debut short film as an actor, writer and director. With 'The color of truth' Coutinho won the Miami Life Award as best lead actor and received a 2013 nomination as best lead actor for his participation in Jhonny Obando's 'With Elizabeth in Mount Dora' also with Miami Life Awards. Coutinho is also part of the cast of 'Justicia Ciega' a 2013 feature film and 'Living on empty' a short film by Lizandra Parra.
