Morris the Cat

Morris the cat was a large orange tabby who became famous for being in 9 Lives cat food commercials. His image and lines from some of his commercials were printed all over tee shirts, hats, and coffee mugs. Even though he was a cat that was used in commercials, he became a household name and a national celebrity that made it onto various talk show like Mike Douglas. Morris also appeared in Shamus with Burt Reynolds (1973).
