In 2003, Marcos Negrão founded Enigma Filmes. His goal was to create a cinematic language that brings the audience closer to social and environmental issues, the concern for the planet, its people and cultures. Working as director, producer, and cinematographer, Marcos has developed projects in more than 15 countries. From the slums of Brazil, India, Kenya, and the Philippines to refugee camps in the Middle East and tribes in the Himalayas, Myanmar, and Amazon. His recent films include the feature doc "The Broken Moon," recognized with 25 awards including Amsterdam and Rome film festivals, and the popular "Vultures Have Wings" with 5 awards including Artivist Film Festival in Hollywood.
