Tristin was introduced to the stage initially by dance. She spent her teenage years studying at the Broadway Dance Center and the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance. Tristin then went on to study at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. She studied at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, Stonestreet Studios Film and Screen Acting School, and spent a summer in Amsterdam studying Experimental Theatre with Kevin Kuhlke (Chair of Tisch Dept. of Drama), along some of the best teachers Europe has to offer. She graduated from NYU (with Honors) with a BFA in Drama, as well as a double major in Psychology. Following graduation, Tristin performed in NYC at the HERE Arts Center in a production of Man is Man (as Polly Baker) by Bertolt Brecht, directed by internationally acclaimed Paul Binnerts. Tristin also performed in several other NY productions before leaving her home state of New York to pursue a career in Los Angeles. Since arriving in LA, she has studied at the Art of Acting Studio (previously called the Ron Burrus Studio), the Brad Henke Acting Studio, and Upright Citizens Brigade. Tristin has performed in several productions with LOFT ensemble, a viewpoints theatre company based in Downtown Los Angeles.
