Nera Stipicevic is a Croatian stage and film actress, as well as a singer. She was born at the Croatian coast in the town of Makarska. She graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb in 2010. She performed in the Croatian National Theater in their 2007 rendition of "The Threepenny Opera" by Bertold Brecht. In 2008 she played the role of Anka Prpalo in the play "Fantazija", in the Croatian National Theater Sibenik, for which she was nominated for the best young operetta/musical actress at the Croatian annual drama awards in 2008. She co-wrote the music for that play. She also played in the Croatian National Theater 2008 rendition of "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?" by Horace McCoy, playing the role of Lily Bacon, for which she was nominated for the best young drama actress at the Croatian annual drama rewards in 2009. In 2010 she played Sonja, the main role in the Croatian story of the omnibus Some Other Stories. Same year she won the Croatian version of Dancing with the Stars.
