Mark Taniguchi

Mark A. Taniguchi was born on July 16, 1982 in Boise, Idaho. His father, Charles Jr., is Native Hawaiian and Japanese, and his mother, Mary Ranae, is French and Swedish. After his birth, his parents relocated to California and began to raise both Mark and his older brother, Charles III in California until his parents separated when Mark was 3 years old. Mark became interested in acting at a young age and his father enrolled Mark into acting and modeling classes when he was 7 years old. A year later, Mark was picked up by President Tuxedo and began doing various runway shows for the company. After a few years of participating in runway shows, he decided to put modeling on the side to live out his childhood. He is taking several acting classes and has recently completed the film "Blackout" and most recent, was named lead role in the upcoming Independent film, "Terror is the Night". Mark is married to his wife Merlette. They have two Pugs named Makapu'u and Manapua. He has an older brother, Charles III a younger brother Michael and also a younger sister, Courtney. He has stated that Reggae music is his favorite music but he also lists Hip Hop, Rock, and Smooth Jazz as his favorite genres. Tupac, Nas, Eminem, Metallica, Phil Collins, Carlos Santana, The Beatles, and Sade are listed as a few of his favorite artists. As of 2010, Mark has announced that he plans on moving forward with his own production company and a feature film will follow shortly.
