Originally from Aguascalientes, Mexico, she studied filmmaking at the Departamento de Imagen y Sonido (DIS) of the University of Guadalajara and a MA in Innovation Management by the same institution. Since 2006, she works as an editor, writer, producer and director. She co-founded Brujazul in 2015, a company focused on developing films in provincial Mexico in collaboration with international partners.
