Salvatore is a director, producer and screenplay writer from Rome. He graduated in "Literature and Cinema" in 2005. In 2006 his first short film "Crakers" won the "CinemAvvenire" Award at Rome Film Festival. In 2011 in Italy it was released his first theatrical movie as a Director, "How to find the right way the wrong man", distributed by 20th Century FOX. Moreover Salvatore Allocca has written, directed, edited and produced shorts, music videos and documentaries, such as "Negli Occhi", a movie on the life and career of the actor Vittorio Mezzogiorno (jury's prize at 66 Venice Film Festival - Controcampo Italiano Competition ; Silver Ribbon Award and Italian Golden Globe as Best documentary of Cinematographic Nature). In 2017 "Taranta on the road", his second theatrical feature film has been presented in main competition at BIF&EST Bari International Film Festival and later successfully released in cinemas in Italy and abroad. In 2018 Salvatore Allocca won as "Best Director" at 75 Venice Film Festival (Migrati Competition) for his short film "La Gita".
