SAULE KILAITE is a Lithuanian violinist, performance artist, writer and composer. Her style blends classical, traditional and modern music. As well as original work, her discography contains covers of songs by other musicians and various soundtracks. Her artistic project VIOLIN PERFORMANCE is based on the union of five arts: Music, Dance, Painting /Video Art, Literature and Theatre. Saule has collaborated in the recording of a huge number of soundtracks, records, tv themes, theatre shows and live concerts. Throughout her career she has effortlessly jumped from one musical style to another: from pop to traditional, from jazz to neo classical music, thanks also to her collaborations with big international stars such as: Michael Bublé, Laura Pausini, Eros Ramazzotti, Andrea Bocelli, Gianna Nannini, Cesare Cremonini, Lee Ryan and David Guetta. In 2009 and 2010 Saule was the musical star of 175 episodes of the daily programme "Italia sul 2", broadcast on Italian State Television (RAI 2). She has also performed on the most prestigious stages in Italy and in Europe: San Siro Stadium in Milan for the event "Amiche per l'Abruzzo", to raise money for the earthquake victims; Arena di Verona; San Babila Theatre in Milan; La Fenice Opera House in Venice; Rossini Opera House in Pesaro; The New Theatre in Ferrara; Regina Margherita Theatre in Caltanisetta; The Central-Ariston Theatre in Sanremo; Ankara State Opera; The National Theatre of Opera and Balet of Albania; Congress Palaces of Algiers, Brussels, Lugano and other. In recent years, the artist has played over 600 dates with her violin show ANDANDO, VIVENDO ("Going, Living"). It is a multi-media show with synchronized artistic scenography, dancers, guest musicians and an "Invisible Orchestra", with instruments played by Saule herself. With her theater show, she captivates audiences everywhere and has earned the respect of professionals in the music business. Saule's "Violin Performance" is often requested for events and conventions by the world's leading brands such as: Swarovski, Salvatore Ferragamo, Audi, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Bayer, Henkel, Boch, Huawei, Luxottica, Philip Morris, Michelin, 3M, Beneteau Yachts, Christian Dior, etc. In 2011 became main character in a collectors' edition of comic strips entitled "Saule - La Quinta Stagione" ("Saule - The Fifth Season"), a science fiction tale where the violinist is transported in a time machine from the era of Antonio Vivaldi to the modern day, to uncover the mystery of the last manuscript of the Venetian maestro. The book is the work of the "Italian comic guru" Antonio Serra, who has collaborated with Bonelli Editions (Dylan Dog, Martin Mystère, Nathan Never). She also acted and played violin in the Italian film "Still Life" directed by F.Cipriano and "Story of a Luthier" directed by A. Bona. Saule is one of the artistic directors of her creative team 5ARTLAB, which creates various artistic projects and events. The next projects include a fourth and fifth Saule's album and a new theatre show inspired by her first novel "Diary of a Violin".
