Christopher Hills Eaton is a filmmaker based in Studio City, California. Eaton's first feature screenplay, Pursuit, won the 'Powers Award for Excellence in Screenwriting' at the 2011 West Field Screenwriting Awards. In 2013, he Executive Produced the documentary Bizarre: A Circus Story that premiered at the 2016 Santa Barbara International Film Festival and was nominated for best documentary. In 2021, Eaton's TV drama pilot 'Desire Street' was a selected as a finalist in the 2021 Screencraft True Story Competition. He wrote, directed, and produced a handful of short films - 'Split Oak,' which debuted at the 2019 Ojai Film Festival, 'Dance Card's Full,' 'The Deed,' and 'Rack Em', heading out to festivals in late 2021. Chris wrote his first screenplay at fifteen years old and has been writing creatively ever since. Simultaneously, to support himself, Chris has been a paralegal, an organic and treatment-free beekeeper, taught and performed at Circus Center in San Francisco, an organic fruit farmer in Australia, and an entrepreneur forming his own company 'Mystery Tin' where he produced educational card games and launched his own podcast network. He's also appeared in music videos for Face to Face and Hot Rod Circuit, as well as the Discovery Channel reality television show 'Mythbusters.' Born in Santa Barbara, California, Chris attended The Thacher School in Ojai, California, then St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, where he graduated with a double major in Music and Fine Arts and a minor in Economics. He later attended Empire College School of Law in Santa Rosa, California, and excelled in screenwriting and filmmaking classes at UCLA Extension.
