Guillermo Amoedo Schultze (born on March 2nd 1983 in Montevideo, Uruguay) is a director and screenwriter working in Santiago, Chile, since 2007. Amoedo directed the TV movies El Crack (2011), Retorno (2009), La Leyenda de El Crack (2015) and the feature films The Stranger (2014) and El habitante (2017). With director Nicolás López he co-wrote the films Que Pena Tu Vida (2010), Que Pena Tu Boda (2011), Que Pena Tu Familia (2012), My best worst friends (2013), Hazlo como hombre (2017) and No Estoy Loca (2018) and, with director Eli Roth, the films Aftershock (2012), The Green Inferno (2013) and Knock Knock (2015). Guillermo Amoedo received a Bachelor of Communication at the University of Montevideo and later graduated as a Master in Screenwriting at the University of Los Andes in Santiago.
