Simel Keçecioglu

Simel Kececioglu was born in Istanbul. She has practiced many physical activities since childhood such as rhythmic gymnastics and classical dance. She has also obtained her approved training certificate in classical ballet. After finishing high school, she joined The Istanbul University State Conservatory in 2006. In the meantime, she has developed an interest in Japanese culture and started practicing Aikido, which she still continues. After getting her bachelor's degree in theater (2011), she took part in the Istanbul State Theater (Antigone, Mollière's Avare). In 2014, she moved to Paris to pursue her studies in the field of physical theater, of which she had always dreamed, in the very prestigious and world-famous Jacques Lecoq International Theater School. She completed the two-year program in 2016. As far as is known, she is the first actress in Turkey who graduated from Jacques Lecoq School, having a state conservatory diploma.
