African-American professional wrestler best known for his work for CHIKARA and other promotions as Amasis with a gimmick of a wrestling ancient Egyptian pharaoh. He debuted at "CHIKARA Cibernetico & Robin" on September 22, 2007 as the teammate for Ophidian in the debut of the Osirian Portal as a team in a victory over Jigsaw and Shane Storm. At "CHIKARA The Global Gauntlet Night II" on October 19, 2008, the Osirian Portal defeated the Super Smash Brothers (Player Uno and Player Dos) for the CHIKARA Campeonatos de Parejas (tag team titles). They held the belts for almost a year, losing them to the Colony (Fire Ant and Soldier Ant) at "CHIKARA Hiding in Plain Sight" on September 13, 2009. He has also competed for NWA Force One Pro Wrestling, the Heartland Wrestling Association, C*4 Wrestling, Wrestling Is Fun!, Wrestling Is Cool, Wrestling Is Respect, Ring of Honor, CZW and many other promotions. He was forced into temporary retirement in 2011 due to injuries suffered in a car wreck. He returned to action in 2013 for a feud with his former partner Ophidian, leading to Amasis defeating Ophidian in a Sarcophagus Match at "CHIKARA Aniversario: Never Compromise" on June 2, 2013, the night of the shutdown. The Portal eventually reformed and continued to compete. Frightmare defeated Amasis in a Mask vs. Mask match at "CHIKARA Temple of Doom" on December 3, 2016. Along with his success in CHIKARA, he and Ophidian are former NWA Force One (New Jersey) Tag Team Champions, former RCW (Real Championship Wrestling in Maryland) Tag Team Champions and former VOW (Vicious Outcast Wrestling in Pennsylvania) Tag Team Champions. As a singles wrestler, he is a former WIF! (Wrestling Is Fun) Banana Champion (that is, a title that was represented by an actual banana) and a 1x Lucha TO (Lucha Toronto) Premier Champion.
