Arian Foppen was born in Amsterdam in 1982. His father a carpenter, his mother a secretary, his sister 6 years older then he is. He went to the MAVO in Amsterdam, IVKO, a school where he studied acting, music, dance and mime. After that he went on the the KCA in Amsterdam where he continued studying dramatic arts. After that he applied for the Theaterschool of acting in Utrecht, he was accepted.
