Christopher Bencomo is first-generation American. He is bilingual. Born in Miami, Christopher is the eldest son of Cuban immigrants. Despite his humble upbringing in the suburb of Hialeah, his parents dreamed of a better life for him. While in high school and college, Christopher had an affinity for math and science, and he aspired to be an ophthalmologist. Simultaneously, he starred in multiple theatre productions and local and national commercials. After completing his hospital internship as part of his pre-med program, he realized he needed an artistic outlet that medicine could not provide. At that point, he decided to pursue acting, full time. Subsequently, Christopher attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. He then accepted an invitation to attend the theatre program at the University of Central Florida. As a student, he studied accents and is especially proud of his ability to slip in and out of Latin dialects and accents. Christopher has racked up a series of acting roles and now maintains a residence on both coasts. Christopher was the first member of his family to be born in America, and he is a role model to his younger sister and many cousins. Christopher has strong values, pride in his heritage, and an unparalleled work ethic.
